C7 & IDE versus CNet IDE: I'm confused
I have the C7EE Beta (via CoreSP) and have just now installed the CNetEE (via CharterSP) ... The IDE looks the same (as I expected) - but I'm confused about the differences/similarities - Am I supposed to be installing and running these as separate environments ? - In future, will the two sets of directory/folder structures be merged and shared? - - Rgds, JohnM

Mmmm - Maybe that was my own doing ?! Should I have installed CNetEE *over* my C7EE installation ?

I also would like to have one IDE only. But I think this is not possible yet but in future. Better to have to stable products than one lousy IDE...

Hi!
IMO, the two IDE's (Clarion7 and Clarion.NET) share the same code base except for maybe the compiler plugins but are sold as two separate products which possibly is a marketing decision. An analogy would be :: If you have an Accounting System which has two versions - one running on TPS and another on SQL and both are priced differently and the customer wants to run both versions, won't you charge for both?
Regards
Shankar
