My dictionary has over 400 files. I use just one .dct because some files are used in every app. If I used > 1 dct it would be awkward when a file definition changed. A few questions:
1. When I import the dct to RW it only picks up 190 or so files?
2. The RW manual describes how to hide a file or field, but that is done within RW so you have to import them first. Is there a way to do a selective export from the DCT editor? If so, I could then import only the files I needed.
3. The files seem to be listed in a random sequence (probably not but it is not alphabetical). Less than intuitive. Can I change it to file name?
4. Haven't seen anything from SV about RW and 7.0. I assume it will be there (???), but will it be any better?
I use Pervasive (Btrieve driver). Any ideas?
